Jessi Gurr is the Founder and CEO of Iceberg Web Design. She started the company in 2005 after years of building websites for freelance clients and local organizations.
Today she focuses on guiding the company’s long-term growth and supporting the team behind Iceberg’s web design and digital marketing services. Jessi is especially passionate about building a company where people enjoy coming to work and can grow both professionally and personally.

Jessi’s interest in website development started early. In 1993, at the age of 12, she learned HTML and built her first website. Through her teenage years she continued developing websites for freelance clients, gaining experience working with small businesses and organizations.
While attending college, Jessi worked part-time as the webmaster for the campus radio station. During this time she continued building websites while developing her skills in website management and digital communication.
In 2005, Jessi founded Iceberg Web Design. What started as a small freelance business has grown into a full-service website development and digital marketing agency serving businesses across many industries.
Today Jessi focuses on high-level business operations and guiding the company’s long-term growth. She works closely with the leadership team to support Iceberg’s continued growth while maintaining a workplace where people enjoy coming to work and can grow professionally.
Jessi graduated from the University of Minnesota, Morris in 2004 with degrees in Mathematics and Philosophy, along with a secondary concentration in Music Theory. Her academic background strengthened her analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creative approach to building digital solutions.
Jessi occasionally speaks at business development conferences and enjoys connecting with business owners, freelancers, and agency leaders. She also mentors entrepreneurs who are working to grow their own businesses.
She is an active member of the Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce and serves on the board of Montessori Renaissance Academy in Anoka.
Jessi lives just north of Anoka, Minnesota with her two boys and four cats. Outside of work she enjoys gardening, vegan cooking, traveling, and begrudgingly training for her next 10k run.
