I finally did it! I am so proud to announce that I have my associate’s degree in Internet marketing from the Minnesota School of Business in Blaine, MN! I started going to MSB in 2010 for sales and marketing and I ended up taking a couple years off to welcome my two children into the world. When I looked back into re-enrolling, the Internet marketing program really caught my eye. I’ve been taking classes full time for over a year now to finish it as soon as possible! My experience at MSB has been memorable, I had the opportunity to do a commercial for them which plays on tv and on the radio. I was also chosen to give a commencement speech on graduation night. I was SO nervous but everyone told me I did fine! This program has taught me about SEO/SEM, brand building, social engagement, marketing plans, social media marketing, and strategic development plans, Internet advertising, advanced web marketing and more. I plan to use a lot of skills and concepts I’ve learned over the course of earning my degree here at Iceberg Web Design. I recently started handling all of Iceberg’s social media accounts and it’s been a lot of fun to use the skills I’ve learned about Internet marketing. It is such a great accomplishment to graduate from college! It’s an even greater accomplishment to be working for a company in my field of studies. My plans for now are to take some time off of school to plan my wedding that will be October 31st, 2015 (yes- I’m having a Halloween wedding!) and to spend time with my almost three year old son and one year old daughter.
